What Are The Blogger Content Policy Guidelines?

Recently, I was having a discussion with someone in an online forum about blogger content policy. Specifically, they were wondering if it was okay to post opinions on blog posts that lean towards a political party or religion. This is a hard question to answer, because the simple fact of the matter is, no one can decide for you what is good or bad. That is up to you, the consumer, to decide for yourself. What you do know, though, is that there are some very clear guidelines that must be followed when posting any type of opinion on anyone else’s blog. If you wish to fully understand all of the blogger content policy, then please read on…

According to the blogger content policy outlined at the top of this article, “The site you are commenting on should not contain anything defamatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise illegal. Posts that break this golden rule may be removed and your reputation may be ruined by this action. You may, however return to the post later and add a brief note that your opinion was expressed in a positive manner.” In addition, please report any spam comments you receive straight to the moderation team. They will handle any complaints you have about a post and will help ensure that it remains free of any spam.

As you likely understand by now, the only way to get your blog comments approved is to provide enough information to the reader that they feel they need to see. When you are providing information related to a current event, it is best to provide more than a few links as more links can only result in your comment being deleted by the spam filter. According to the blogger guidelines, you may also “use this space to promote your own business or website”. You are allowed a maximum of three links within the body of text.

It is important that you clearly state the type of business or blog that you are attempting to promote through your comments. According to the blogger guidelines, if you attempt to promote your own business through your comments on someone else’s post, you should have a link to that business that is directly linked from the page where the comment belongs. For example, if you are commenting on someone’s post about the latest developments in the stock market, you would not want to leave a link to your own website in the same comment because that might get you blocked. Again, you are advised to use the responsibly approved categories in which to create blogs.

As part of the community guidelines you are also reminded to refrain from posting any adult content on your blog or linking to adult content sites. This information is posted in an effort to promote literacy and awareness among users of the blogging site. You are also advised to keep all posts and comments appropriate for the topic in which they are posted. The use of profanity or vulgar language is also prohibited.

It goes without saying that we hope lokerqq that you will be able to navigate your way through the Blogger Community Guidelines and avoid the possibility of breaking any of them. However, if you find that you have done so, please report the activity to the Blogger community manager at once. Doing so will help prevent further postings that may result in violations of the community guidelines and could result in you having your accounts deleted. In addition, violating the anti-spam laws could result in you being blocked from using the site again. While we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season, it is advised that you avoid the possibility of running afoul of the Google AdSense Content Network’s AdSense Content Policies in any way.
